I do. I know the realities of comics and life, but I miss stories about her and Beeba and Spuckler.
(I miss my doggy Akiko too, but that's another bit.)
To try to bring something back - what are your favorite Akiko moments?
For me, they aren't always about Akiko....
I remember Spuckler and Miyuki, Akiko's relationship with Prince Froptoppit, and Gax's "maams".

Yeah, I miss Akiko. It was a comic like no other. Every issue I read put a smile on my face. Akiko was a comic that I didn't just spend five minutes reading it and just put it away. I would go back to it over and over and just let the artwork absorb into my brain. The lines, the grey tones, the thick borders, the intricate brushwork, it was all incredible. There may have been similar books like Akiko, but I have yet to find one that has satisfied my "inner giddiness" like Akiko did.
Awe-inspiring two-page spreads. Out-of-this-world architecture. Good hygiene. Lots of celebrations that involve eating large quantities of odd-looking food. Friendly bickering. Air in outer space. Robot doubles. The "Gax gadget-of-the-month." Roller-Coasters (figuratively and literally). The quiet wisdom of Poog. Akiko's never-give-up attitude. These are just a few of the things that I think of when I think of Akiko. I can only dream that the future brings more Akiko memories...

Yep - I recently sold my entire comic book collection. I kept Akiko and Bone.
