Just sent out an application to be the illustrator for a childrens book featuring a female duck written by a local. I made 2 pictures to show that I can draw ducks and even put then in 2 different medias. A scan of the hand drawn pictures and redrawn digital versions of the same pictures.
I found out about this on craigslist in the art/digital/film section of jobs.
If I get this job I could make between $100 and $200 for drawing 10 pictures of a duck interacting with other animals. That's 1 days work for me. Hopefully it will lead to another illustration job and more and more. ;D
