Try creating the images using basic shapes. I am guessing you used some kind of reference for these (since they are one piece characters). "measuring" your drawing and creating guidelines and basic shapes can really help. For instance, see how many heads tall luffy is. See how many heads long his arms are. If you make those to scale with his head, he will look more correct. As far as the face itself, see how many eyes tall/wide his head is. By setting these up you can make more accurate re-creations and fan art.
This can be applied to the boat or any other drawing as well. Just pick an object to use as reference. Then use that to properly measure out everything else.
