How are you building the figure? I can see some proportional issues on the portrait. (Such as the neck)
As far as the clothing I suggest looking up more about form and cast shadows. Knowledge of these can be extremely valuable when drawing folds in clothing, and knowing the rules of these two types of shadows can really strengthen the piece. You can check out some of James Gurneys books or his blog.

Not bad! You're definitely improving! What references did you use, if I may ask? And how is the manga coming along?

Couldn'd find the original drawings online. Here's the hand. Attachments:

And here's the nude. Censored, of course. As for the webcomic, I'm busy with my exams(last year in highschool). So the progress is slow. I'm mostly trying to figure various things like the visual style(should I ink it in b&w or in color, like I saw in some works on DA, what tools to use for coloring, and so on), or the panelng(I thought of decorating them like you see in medieval books, though it remains to be seen if it detracts from the art inside). Now I'm thinking of doing things with underdrawing, at least the art inside the panels, if not the panels themselves. That will give a more pictorial look, rather than a decorative one. I'll start a oneshot somewhere in Aprill(3 to 5 pages, then updating till 15-25 pages) to test things out. Ok, now I'm done. Attachments:

" I'll start a oneshot somewhere in Aprill(3 to 5 pages, then updating till 15-25 pages) to test things out." Ha ha ha! Oh, if only I had been that calculated. But alas, exams take prority. Oh well, here we go: An old drawing; Can't remember when I made it. A study after Michelangelo's Holy Family (unfinished). The first chapter of larger story I started, but wasn't happy with the result; twice. First try. The secound one.

A character design I made for a forum contest. Just a quick drawing.

Or 0.6 kg. I know it's weird. I just wanted to have things short and tight. It's more or less a pet peeve of mine.

If I may ask, where do your art influences come from?

That's a tought question, as I don't copy styles. I wouldn't have even bothered with the great masters, if I didn't want to get into an art university.
From a character design standpoint, I liked the simpified noses in most mangas, witch I'm now applying to girls and kids. Then I guess I took background tips from Kentaro Miura's Berserk and lately, Vinland Saga. Oh, and the hatchings, I took them from Durer's gravures, though I don't make them as proeminent, so that cute things will remain cute. And I guess I prefer to have the eyes realistically scaled.
Sorry I couldn't be more exact. I don't tend to get influenced, rather I prefer having a style as personal as I can.

For the another contest on the same forum (those are weekly, on mangazen; romanian site). This time, the title was 'Cuteness Overload' (previously it was 'Creature Design').

Funny, I don't remember it being so quiet when I first came to this forum. Perhaps Mark could advertise this forum in his videos? Just saying, don't waste the potential of a community. Oh well... For a forum contest: We needed to, and I quote, draw a song (for me, it was this one: click here) Same: Trying a new style: Now lots of doodles:
