 Decided I wanted to do a bit of Akiko fan art to kick off this new forum, and "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?" was on...so a natural choice! Inked with EnerGel pen and Sharpie (fine and ultra-fine), colored with Prismacolors. Logo font borrowed from/inspired by that used for the book titles of the Teen Akiko novels. ---Dave Edit: Oh, and the little purple spot on her choker is a Poog cameo. The carved kind, not the guest appearance kind.  |

Bravo, Dave! Really beautiful, and I'm glad that one of my long time Akiko readers has embraced the idea of her growing up a little (or a lot!). She looks like she could show Spuckler a thing or two about heroics!

A friend suggested I draw Spuckler next, but it strikes me that Mr. Boach wouldn't dress up any different, he'd just go to the auditions in his usual attire.  ---Dave |

I would agree.Spuckler is sorta weird...but Spuckler and I have something in commen.
