I've had my copy for a while, and it is very nice.
Anyone else get theirs and was it "nice" too?

I'm very excited for this new Akiko trade paperback. The original "Flights of Fancy" is possibly my favortie book out of all the trades, so I can't wait to see what else will be featured in the extended edition! Hopefully I'll be able to get it the day it's released. I just read it and it's great

I just finished reading my copy! (My mom got it for me for Christmas!) Loved it. My mom and I both got a real kick out of the Beebles part. Awesome job, Mark!

Thanks, lepamplemousse! Glad you liked the "Beebles"; I had fun recreating all the various album covers, etc. I miss those back-up features; maybe I can get some into a new project someday... mark I just finished reading my copy! Or just do online "backup features" as promotional material for the main book.

There's a glowing review of Flights of Fancy over at Newsarama's Best Shots column. Here's a short excerpt from the review: "The book’s highlight is probably Akiko #39, a stand-alone issue that features several strips all running parallel to each other on a single page. Not only does each strip work on its own, but Crilley also imbues each with its own distinct illustrative style, and the climactic crossover of Spuckler’s deadly pursuit combined with Akiko’s meditative discussion on the value of a revered comic must be seen to be believed!"For the whole review, go on over to: forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=142244You'll have to scroll down quite a bit to reach it. It's right after the review of Justice League Unlimited #41.
