I need to ask some questions... Do you use PC to do the dialouge in mangas? What size paper do you use? How thick? Any recommended tools?

My main caveat here would be that if you're just starting out, don't go blowing money on the expensive gear...you can learn just as well with cheap stuff, and there's always a risk that you'll get stuck in "must be perfect" paralysis if you go for the good stuff right away. In other words, you'll be afraid to "waste" materials and end up doing nothing.

I know, I know, I want to KNOW what the proffessionals use. I haven't bought anything. I'm not stupid or crazy!!!! I will need to know when I am pro, so why not now?

How do you know when you're pro? It's not you that decides that, but the people that look at your work. Besides what other people use might not work for you. Anyway, I'd think "pros" use Photoshop (CS2/3? I dunno...), Painter or Open Canvas, or sometimes a mix. Those are the ones I here of anyway. OC would be the cheapest of them and apparently made mainly for tablet users.
For paper, there's manga paper actually. Not sure if it's called that, but it's thick so it takes up ink well, and has blue lines that don't show up during scanning so it's easier to draw the page layout. Haven't found it in shops though... then again I live in the middle of nowhere really >.>

Umm....No, don't get in my face, vertex. I sound like a snob in my replies and all, I'm sorry, but I have reasons. Reason #1: I'm better than those I reply to. Besides, pro means you get payed for your work. Gosh, I just asked to know some freakin' supplies!!! Would it not be easier to tell me the flippin' floppin' answer? Sheesh!!!!

I did answer and suggest a few things... =/
Sorry, don't take this the wrong way, but i didn't see a link to any of your works anywhere so I dunno if you're just someone saying his good or if you're actually good >.< I'd really like to see your art though, cause if you're as good as you say I can learn stuff too ^^
About the thing being pro... people choose who they want to pay right? So they also choose who is pro... well indirectly at least.
I don't really want to turn this into a fight (even if the last part may suggest otherwise >.<), and I wasn't really in a good mood when I posted that other post, so again sorry if you were offended.

Haha! I was just kidding! Not being a jerk, kidding! I can't put my drawings on the internet... just cuz. In a while, though, I will and you shall see my mighty wrath!! Haha. No offense taken, or given. I don't get offended. I really don't know how to put things on the internet anyway.
