I hope I'm putting this in the right section, but I just wanted to say that your series Miki Falls is really amazing. I recently purchased all four books, got them today, and I read them all in one sitting! I literally couldn't stop!
I have been a fan of manga/anime for many years and I would have to put your story up there with those of Hayao Miyazaki as some of the best out there.
Your characters are so human and "real" it forced me to think "What would I do in this situation?" It really put me in the story! Every decision they made (as tough as some of them were!) you just know you would probably do the same thing in their place.
Your story is wonderfully crafted, and flows so very well. I love the twists and turns because it shows just how much thought you put into writing it. Well done!
Your artwork is amazing and very inspiring! I had kinda given up on drawing awhile back thinking it would never be something I would need to focus on with what I do for my job. That changed when I was suddenly asked to do draw some characters for a commercial we were making. It was right at that time that I found your videos on YouTube and wow what an encouragement! For the first time in a couple years I started drawing again, and I know it's something I will keep up. I can't thank you enough for all your wonderful videos.
The only negative I can point out with Miki Falls is that it is entirely too short! I was very satisfied with the ending and dragging it out any longer wouldn't have worked, but like all great works I felt both empty and full when I was finished. I wanted more and yet to have more would've been too much. So in the end it's not really a negative, but more like wishful thinking that there could have been more to the story (who knows... maybe there is! I'll just keep my fingers crossed!)
Oh, and I would absolutely love to see this as an anime movie!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make your videos. You probably will never know how much they had impacted my life.
Arigatou gozaimasu.
